Kids Klub Foundation, Inc. is official with the State of Arizona. I got the stamped articles of incorporation earlier this week. The next step is to publish in accordance with Arizona law. I am pleasantly surprised to find out this is much more affordable that I had previously thought.Of course, incorporating is actually the easy part. Now we start to navigate through the process of obtaining our 501(c)(3) status through the IRS. I will not be doing this part myself. We are hiring a CPA who specializes in this. She is, generously, discounting her fees to keep our costs down.
Like I said in an earlier post...it is ironically somewhat costly to start a non-profit, tax exempt corporation. But, the ball is rolling and I'm pleased with our progress.
